Conference Program

8:00-8:40 – Participant Registration

Participant registration will begin at 8:00 AM. During this time, attendees will be able to collect conference materials, familiarize themselves with the event schedule, and prepare for an intensive day filled with lectures and discussions.

8:45-9:00 – Welcome Address

The official opening of the conference will take place at 8:45 AM, when Dr. Dorota Pomorska-Handwerker will greet all participants and introduce them to the topic of the event. Her speech will serve as an introduction to the fascinating lectures that will follow.

9:00-10:00 – Microscope, Dermatoscope, and PetCellpen – Necessity or Trend?

The first lecture will be led by Dr. Agnieszka Gecewicz, who will present both traditional and modern diagnostic tools, such as the microscope, dermatoscope, and PetCellpen. She will discuss whether they are essential in daily dermatological practice or merely a trendy addition.

10:00-11:00 – Feline Dermatology: A Comprehensive Approach to Dermatomycosis and Malassezia

Dr. Agnieszka Cekiera will discuss a comprehensive approach to diagnosing and treating dermatoses and Malassezia in cats. She will present the latest diagnostic methods and effective therapies that will enable veterinarians to effectively address these conditions.

Dr. Claudia Nett will discuss effective diagnostic approaches and treatment options for ear dermatoses. Her lecture, also simultaneously translated, will provide participants with practical knowledge to assist in their daily work with patients.

15:00-15:30 – Therapeutic Efficacy of Atmospheric Cold Plasma in Treating Acute Otitis Externa in Dogs

PhD Alanur Bakir will present research findings on the effectiveness of cold plasma therapy in treating acute otitis externa in dogs. The presentation, also simultaneously translated, will allow participants to familiarize themselves with the latest achievements in this field.

15:30-16:00 – Coffee Break

The next coffee break is a time to refresh before the final part of the conference. It is also an excellent moment to continue conversations with other attendees and experts.

16:00-17:00 – Atopic Dermatitis in Dogs: Individual Therapy Paths and Maintaining Remission – Analysis of Four Cases

Dr. Dorota Pomorska-Handwerker will present four detailed cases of atopic dermatitis in dogs. She will discuss various therapeutic approaches and strategies for maintaining remission, which will help participants understand the complexity and diversity of approaches to this condition.
